When installing a Dreamcast fan mount kit in a system with the optical drive still in use you will run into a fitment problem, this is expected, there is a tab that holds the fan at the bottom that must be removed to make everything fit inside a system with a drive still installed. This tab is located by the screw post and can be removed by simply bending it away from the part.
